Welcome to Sports Recovery Massage

"If you don't make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness."

My Philosophy

I believe in the body’s natural ability to heal itself. My role as a massage therapist is to support and enhance that process by truly listening to each client’s needs. Together, we create individualized treatment plans designed to promote healing, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.

My Mission
My mission is to deliver focused, personalized massage therapy that adapts to each client’s unique goals. Every session is shaped by active listening, collaboration, and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome. This mission is grounded in the following core values:

  • Respect: Every person who enters my treatment space will be treated with dignity, compassion, and care.
  • Education: I believe in empowering clients by helping them understand their bodies. Through education on stretching, posture, and movement, I support them in taking an active role in their wellness journey.
  • Results: I’m deeply committed to helping clients feel better and see real progress. If a client’s needs fall outside my scope of practice, I will refer them to trusted practitioners who can help.

SPORTS MASSAGE:
Sports massage is designed for athletes of all levels—from elite professionals to casual weekend joggers. This type of massage is tailored to the specific demands of the athlete's sport, focusing on areas of the body that are overused and stressed due to repetitive and often intense movements. My approach targets these high-impact zones to help improve performance, prevent injury, and support recovery.
$100/60min or $140/90min

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE:
Myofascial release is a hands-on therapy that targets the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles throughout the body. By applying gentle, sustained pressure and guided stretching, this technique helps release tension, reduce pain, and restore natural mobility.
$100/60min or $140/90min

SWEDISH MASSAGE:
Swedish massage uses long flowing strokes, kneading and circular movements. This is the most requested massage technique, and it has been shown to help reduce pain. Swedish massage promotes relaxation.
$100/60min or $140/90min

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY:
Trigger point therapy is a popular technique focused on identifying and treating hyper-irritable spots in skeletal muscles—commonly known as “knots.” These areas often form in taut bands of muscle fibers and can be felt as small, tender nodules. Applying pressure to a trigger point may produce localized pain, referred pain in other parts of the body, or even a brief muscle twitch. This therapy is especially effective for individuals suffering from stress-related pain, chronic tension, or injury.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE:
Deep tissue massage is ideal for those dealing with chronic muscle tension, strains, or sports-related injuries. This technique uses slow, focused pressure to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It’s especially effective at breaking down scar tissue and easing tight, overworked areas. Whether you’re recovering from an injury or simply need relief from persistent discomfort, deep tissue massage can help restore movement, reduce pain, and support long-term healing.
$100/60min or $140/90min

MAT-BASED THAI BODYWORK:
Mat-based Thai massage is performed on a padded floor mat with the client fully clothed, offering a grounded and non-invasive experience. Rooted in traditional Thai bodywork, this technique uses broad, sustained compressions and gentle rocking to calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation. As the body responds to the rhythm and pressure, I am able to work more deeply into the muscles and connective tissues. This style of massage provides targeted relief for areas such as the neck, upper and lower back, hips, legs, and arms. It also supports improved circulation, enhanced mobility, and a greater range of motion—making it a great choice for anyone seeking a gentle yet effective full-body treatment.

CUPPING THERAPY AND FASCIA SCRAPING:

What is Cupping Therapy?
Cupping therapy is an ancient healing practice rooted in traditional medicine. It involves placing specialized cups on the skin to create gentle suction, which helps stimulate blood flow and encourages the body’s natural healing processes.
By increasing circulation to the targeted area, cupping can:

Relieve muscle tension and tightness
Improve blood and lymphatic flow
Support cell repair and tissue regeneration
Promote relaxation and recovery
Cupping is commonly used to address chronic pain, muscle soreness, and restricted movement.
What to Expect:
Some clients may experience temporary discoloration (commonly mistaken for bruising), which is a normal response to the suction and typically fades within a few days to a week. The intensity and duration of these marks vary depending on the individual and the level of stagnation in the tissues. Not all clients will experience this response.
Cupping is safe, non-invasive, and can be a powerful addition to your overall wellness or recovery routine.

What is Fascia Scraping?
Fascia scraping — also known as muscle scraping or instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) — is a targeted technique used to release tension in the body’s connective tissue. Using a specialized tool, gentle scraping motions are applied to the skin to treat the fascia: the web-like tissue that surrounds and supports muscles throughout the body. Over time, fascia can become tight, restricted, or develop adhesions due to overuse, injury, or physical stress. This can result in pain, stiffness, and limited mobility. Fascia scraping helps to:
Break down adhesions and scar tissue
Increase blood flow and circulation to affected areas
Improve range of motion and flexibility
Reduce muscular tightness and soreness

This technique is often used as part of a comprehensive recovery or treatment plan to restore movement, support healing, and enhance performance.

PASSIVE STRETCHING:

Stretching is a highly effective method for enhancing mobility and flexibility. Passive stretching involves the use of an external force to deepen the stretch, rather than relying solely on your own muscular effort. This can be achieved through partner-assisted stretches, stretching equipment, or simply allowing gravity to assist. In all cases, passive stretching depends on an outside force to facilitate the movement.
